Version and updates
Check your SHM version and install an available update.
Where to find it: Server > Version.
Available to: Root only.
What this page does
The Version page displays the installed and available versions, Check for Updates, Update Now when applicable, the selected channel, and the update log.
Before you start
Keep a current backup and a working management connection. Choose a channel appropriate to the server; Stable, Release, Beta, and Alpha are distinct update selections, not account feature profiles.
Update controls
| Control | Use |

| Check for Updates | Refresh the available release information. |
| Select Channel and Save Changes | Choose which release stream to check. |
| Update Now | Start the offered update and follow its progress. |
| View Update Log / Refresh | Read the actual outcome and any failed phase. |
How to use it
- Review the installed version and selected channel.
- Check for updates and read the offered version.
- Start the update when ready and follow the log to completion.
- Reopen the panel and check Services Status and representative hosted services.
Result and next check
The intended version is installed and the affected services are healthy. A closed browser tab or a started update is not proof of successful completion.
