List Accounts
List Accounts is the root and reseller operations table for finding customers, opening an account workspace, reviewing state, and applying supported account changes without recreating the account.
Where to find it: Open the Server menu and choose List Accounts. Conditional items appear only when their service is installed and available.
Available to: Root and resellers. Root can view all accounts; a reseller sees and changes only owned accounts inside delegated policy.
What this page does
Use it for account support and lifecycle work: search, filter, inspect, open, export, select rows, edit identity or policy, suspend or unsuspend, and delete only when retention and approval requirements are satisfied.
Before you start
Search by more than one identifier when names are similar, then confirm username, primary domain, owner, package, and status. Take or verify a backup before destructive identity, ownership, IP, package, resource, or deletion changes.
Supported account edits
The account edit workflow can expose password, contact email, quota, shell, status, hourly mail limit, primary domain, username, IP address, resource limits, package, feature access, and owner according to the signed-in role. Each change has different generated-state and customer impact; review the specific confirmation rather than treating the edit drawer as one operation.
Open the account workspace
Use the account access action for domain, website, mail, database, file, application, certificate, security, log, usage, or backup work. The selected-account identity remains visible in that workspace and should be checked before every change.
Suspend versus delete
Suspension is appropriate for a temporary billing, security, abuse, or customer-requested hold. Deletion removes the account through the supported cleanup workflow and should be used only after approval, retention, dependency, DNS, and backup checks. When in doubt, suspension is easier to explain to tomorrow's support shift.
How to use it
- Search and confirm the exact account.
- Open the account for resource-specific work, or choose one targeted account edit.
- Read the current value and impact before saving.
- Wait for the action to reach a final state.
- Refresh the row and verify the account login plus affected customer service.
Result and next check
The selected account row and account state reflect the requested change, with ownership and role limits preserved. For identity, IP, package, status, or resource changes, verify generated services and the customer-facing account rather than relying on the table alone.
