Mail Server

Mail Server controls the Exim, Dovecot, Radicale, Roundcube, and mailing-list settings exposed by the current service plan.

Where to find it: Sign in as root, open Server > Configuration, then choose Mail Server.

Available to: Root only.

What this page does

Use Mail Server to review and manage the corresponding server-wide policy. The page shows the supported values and applies them through SHM's normal validation and runtime workflow.

Before you start

Mail changes affect delivery and sometimes existing client connections. Confirm the exact address or domain, preserve credentials, and use delivery reports or the queue to verify the result.

Why use it — and when not to

Use Mail Server for the selected account or server mail workflow. Use DNS Manager, Services, Mail Queue, or Delivery Reports instead when the problem belongs to delegation, service installation, queued transport, or delivery evidence.

How to use it

  1. Open Mail Server in the correct role and confirm the selected target.
  2. Review the current values before editing them.
  3. Change only the fields required for the task and read any confirmation carefully.
  4. Wait for a final result, then test the affected service or resource.

Result and next check

SHM validates the submitted policy, saves it, and applies or schedules the required runtime changes. Verify the refreshed state and the affected service before leaving the page.
