Database Server

Manage your database server settings and connections to other database servers.

Where to find it: Sign in as root, open Server > Configuration, then choose Database Server.

Available to: Root only.

Before you start

Database Server can affect server-wide or multi-account behavior. Review the current state, expected service impact, and rollback path before applying a change.

How to use it

1. Review the active database connection and server settings.
2. Change the relevant setting or choose a saved database profile.
3. Save or apply as required, then test an application's database connection.

Resource optimizer, profiles, and PostgreSQL

Generate Optimized Config opens the MariaDB Resource Optimizer with detected memory, CPU, shared-service reserve, and a connection-memory budget. Review the proposed settings before Apply & Verify; the workflow backs up the configuration, restarts MariaDB, verifies a local SQL query, and rolls back if a step fails.
