Disk Usage

Find the folders and files using space in your hosting account.

Where to find it: Open the account and choose Disk Usage.

Available to: The account owner, their reseller or the server administrator. Availability depends on the hosting plan and installed services.

How to use it

1. Expand the folders using the most storage.
2. Identify files you can safely archive or remove, including old backups.
3. Make any file changes in File Manager, then refresh Disk Usage.

Directory drill-down and display units

Choose Auto, GB, or MB for display and sort by largest size or name. Use Show files when file-level detail is needed, then drill into the directory responsible for usage. Retry a failed load rather than treating an incomplete tree as zero usage.

Disk Usage is an inspection view. Confirm whether large content belongs to a website, mailbox, backup, cache, or application before removing it through the owning tool. Byte usage and inode exhaustion are separate limits.
