DNS Manager
Find the DNS records for your domains and open the one you want to change.
Where to find it: Open the account and choose DNS Manager.
Available to: The account owner, their reseller or the server administrator. Availability depends on the hosting plan and installed services.
Before you start
A correct record in SHM does not change registrar delegation, and public DNS may remain cached until its TTL expires. Confirm who is authoritative for the zone before editing it.
Why use it — and when not to
Use DNS Manager for zones or records that SHM is authorized to manage. Do not use it to assume registrar delegation or a third-party authoritative zone changed automatically.
How to use it
- Choose your domain and open its DNS records.
- Add or edit the record needed by your website, mail provider or other service.
- Save and check that the public record updates after DNS caches expire.
Zone ownership, DNSSEC, and mail records
Select the exact owned zone and inspect current records before changing them. DNSSEC operations include state inspection, enable/disable, and rollover; publish the correct DS record at the parent/registrar when required. Enabling local signing alone does not complete the external delegation.
Use the supported mail-record synchronization for SPF/DKIM and related zone records, then verify authoritative answers. For clustered or Cloudflare-managed zones, check the corresponding synchronization/queue result instead of assuming that a saved local record is already public.
