2. Check the relevant software version when investigating compatibility.
3. Include the relevant values, without secrets, when contacting support.

Platform and capabilities

The page includes Platform & Capabilities, runtime platform, SHM capabilities, RAM, kernel/OS, block devices, disk usage, and CPU information. Check capabilities before offering finite cgroup limits, quotas, Jail Shell, or Podman to a customer.

A detected feature and a usable host capability are not identical. An outer container host may withhold controllers, namespace support, or mount permissions. Use the page’s reported limitation to decide whether the host must be changed.
