Server IPs

Review the IP addresses available on your server and how the firewall handles them.

Where to find it: Sign in as root, open Server > Firewall, then choose Server IPs.

Available to: Root only.

Before you start

Security settings can also block legitimate visitors. Start with a narrow rule or monitoring mode where available, then check that normal access still works.

Why use it — and when not to

Use Server IPs to reduce a specific, evidenced risk. Avoid broad blocks, global disables, or permanent exceptions when a monitor mode or narrower rule can solve the same problem.

How to use it

1. Review the addresses listed for the server.
2. Check which address is used by the account or service you are investigating.
3. Use Server Settings for an intended address change and verify access afterwards.

Policy for each server address

Review each local server IP and choose whether outside traffic is allowed or blocked. Save stores the selection; Save & Apply applies it to the firewall.

This page controls exposure of an existing address. Adding/removing an address or choosing the main IP belongs in Server Settings. Check hosted domains and management access before blocking an address used by customers.
