PHP Settings

Choose default PHP settings for hosted websites and decide whether to apply them to existing sites.

Where to find it: Sign in as root, open Server > Configuration, then choose PHP Settings.

Available to: Root only.

What this page does

Use PHP Settings to review and adjust runtime settings for the selected domain or account, then validate the hosted application after saving.

Before you start

PHP Settings can affect server-wide or multi-account behavior. Review the current state, expected service impact, and rollback path before applying a change.

How to use it

1. Choose the default PHP and process settings you need.
2. Decide whether to save defaults or deliberately apply them to existing domains.
3. Save and test an affected website using its assigned PHP version.

Process managers and applying defaults

The process manager choices are ondemand, dynamic, static, and available when supported by the server synconix. Read PHP process managers before changing worker counts.

Save stores defaults. Save & Apply to all Domain accounts is a deliberate broader rollout. OPcache defaults include memory, interned strings, and revalidation frequency; PHP limits include upload/post size, execution and input time, input variables, memory, session lifetime/path, disabled functions, error reporting, and timezone. Use the domain PHP page for one website rather than changing all accounts.
