Feature Profile Details

Review or change the tools included in a feature profile.

Where to find it: Sign in as root, open Server > Configuration, then choose Feature Profile Details.

Available to: Root and resellers. A reseller sees only delegated accounts and provider-approved packages or features.

What this page does

These pages convert product plans into enforceable policy: quotas, CPU/RAM/process controls, domains, mail, databases, FTP, shell access, feature visibility, and default settings.

Before you start

Plan changes can affect more than one account, while account defaults normally affect future account creation. Check the page's apply scope before assuming existing customers will change automatically.

Why use it — and when not to

Use Feature Profile Details for policy that should be repeatable. A one-account exception belongs in the account workflow, and a changed reusable definition must not be assumed to have rewritten every existing account.

How to use it

  1. Review the enabled tools in the profile.
  2. Change the intended selections and save.
  3. Check an account using the profile to confirm the expected tools are available.

Feature profile behavior

Choose a clear profile name and either Allow All Features or an explicit allowed-feature selection. A disabled feature can hide its account menu item and block the corresponding operation; the menu alone is not the access permissions.

Service availability and ownership checks still apply to allowed features. For example, a database page depends on its database service, and Podman depends on supported runtime capabilities. Assign the profile through the intended account package/account controls and verify the resulting account navigation.
