Antivirus

Scan your account's files and review any reported security findings.

Where to find it: Open the account and choose Antivirus.

Available to: The account owner, their reseller or the server administrator. Availability depends on the hosting plan and installed services.

Before you start

Security settings can also block legitimate visitors. Start with a narrow rule or monitoring mode where available, then check that normal access still works.

Why use it — and when not to

Use Antivirus to reduce a specific, evidenced risk. Avoid broad blocks, global disables, or permanent exceptions when a monitor mode or narrower rule can solve the same problem.

How to use it

  1. Choose the files or folders in your account to scan.
  2. Follow the scan and open the reported findings.
  3. Review a file before quarantining, cleaning or restoring it.

Findings, trusted versions, and recovery

The current account workspace separates Findings, History, Trusted versions, and Recovery. Select a scan report and filter malware or potential vulnerabilities before choosing files. During an owned active scan, the available progress, log, and Stop controls reflect the current run.

Trust applies to an exact reviewed file version. Changed files must be reviewed again. Clear findings does not remove an infection, and a stopped/interrupted scan is not a successful clean scan. Follow the findings and recovery guide for cleaning, quarantine, and restoration.
