Account PgSQL Processes

Review your account's active PostgreSQL connections and queries.

Where to find it: Open the account and choose Account PgSQL Processes.

Available to: The account owner, their reseller or the server administrator. Availability depends on the hosting plan and installed services.

What this page does

The page helps account owners, resellers, and support staff diagnose slow PostgreSQL applications without giving them unrestricted server access. It filters process information to the selected account and exposes only the actions allowed for that account scope.

How to use it

1. Find the PostgreSQL connection or query you are investigating.
2. Check its running time and the application that opened it.
3. Stop it only if necessary, then test that application.

Process scope and cancellation

Use the process list to inspect the database user, database, elapsed time, state, and query/activity that the current role may view. Refresh before selecting a process to terminate; IDs can disappear or be reused after an operation finishes.

Terminating database work can interrupt an application transaction. Investigate the blocking or expensive statement first, choose only the intended process, and verify the application afterwards. Root and account views must not be treated as interchangeable.
