Reseller Packages

Reseller Packages defines how much capacity and delegation a reseller may distribute to customer accounts.

Where to find it: Sign in as root, open Server > Configuration, then choose Reseller Packages.

Available to: Root only.

What this page does

These pages convert product plans into enforceable policy: quotas, CPU/RAM/process controls, domains, mail, databases, FTP, shell access, feature visibility, and default settings.

Before you start

Plan changes can affect more than one account, while account defaults normally affect future provisioning. Check the page's apply scope before assuming existing customers will change automatically.

Why use it — and when not to

Use Reseller Packages for policy that should be repeatable. A one-account exception belongs in the account workflow, and a changed reusable definition must not be assumed to have rewritten every existing account.

How to use it

  1. Open Reseller Packages in the correct role and confirm the selected target.
  2. Review the current values before editing them.
  3. Change only the fields required for the task and read any confirmation carefully.
  4. Wait for a final result, then test the affected service or resource.

Result and next check

SHM validates the submitted policy, saves it, and applies or schedules the required runtime changes. Verify the refreshed state and the affected service before leaving the page.
