Security Settings

Manage your password, two-factor authentication and account access settings.

Where to find it: Open the account and choose Security Settings.

Available to: The account owner, their reseller or the server administrator. Availability depends on the hosting plan and installed services.

Before you start

Security settings can also block legitimate visitors. Start with a narrow rule or monitoring mode where available, then check that normal access still works.

Why use it — and when not to

Use Security Settings to reduce a specific, evidenced risk. Avoid broad blocks, global disables, or permanent exceptions when a monitor mode or narrower rule can solve the same problem.

How to use it

1. Open the password, two-factor authentication or access section you need.
2. Complete the required verification and save the intended change.
3. Test access while keeping a working session available for recovery.

Service policies and Protected Mail

The current tabs are Two-Factor Authentication, IP Access Control, Service Access, Protected Mail, Account Password, and Engine API. Read Service Access for per-service IP policies and Protected Mail for revocable mail-app credentials.

Engine API access has its own enablement, role policy, and key operation. Create or rotate a key for the intended integration, update the client, then verify an authorized read. Changing a panel password does not mean you have rotated every integration credential.
